✦ May 2015: An undergraduate student John Dewey joins the Jalan MBE Lab for the undergraduate research experience and will be working on MBE growth of complex oxides. Welcome John.

✦ May 2015: Bharat delivered an invited condensed matter physics colloquium entitled “New Insights and Opportunities at the MBE-Grown Complex Oxide Heterostructures” at the Center for Nanophysics and Advanced Materials, Department of Physics at the University of Maryland- Baltimore, May 14, 2015.

✦ Many congratulations to Andrew Xu, who was just awarded a University Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship for 2015-16. Andrew works on the MBE growth and electronic transport study of the artificial heterostructure of complex oxides.

✦ February 2014: Bharat Jalan delivered magnetic seminar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UMN on the “Hybrid Molecular Beam Epitaxy for Functional Oxide Thin Films and Heterostructures”.

✦ December 2013: Jalan has been awarded a Grant-in-Aid of Research, Artistry and Scholarship from the Office of Vice President of Research, UMN. This award will support research of a graduate student.
